The Lafayette Lion's club is a non-profit organization that works to raise money for people in their community.  The Lion's club uses the money raised to help buy glasses, pay for surgeries, teach guide dogs, and buy hearing aids for those who cannot afford them.  The Lion's club also visits local schools to screen children from grades K-12 for any vision or hearing problems they may have.  This screening helps treat problems in their earliest form before they can progress later in life.
